This grey filter allows us to change subtly the base tone of white winter surfaces such as tanks, spaceships, light colored aircraft, or vehicles of the United Nations. Making it more accurate and authentic color. At the same time, the filter adds depth and richness to our vehicle or accessory, preparing it for the next paint steps. Use the filters by moistening a brush and applying it without flooding the surface, to enrich hues in your models, unify camouflage, or highlight areas with a different tone.

D.A.K. wash for Africa Corps vehicles, also other light colored desert vehicles. Apply on details and remove excess with a clean brush moist with Enamel Thinner. A very appropriate color for desert vehicles painted with a light sand color, especially German tanks from DAK. The basic technique used to weather any type of model is the wash, a classic technique that is still one of the most used techniques in modelling today. Apply the washes after shaking the bottle with a large brush to pick out details and creating shadows.

The excess of the wash can be easily removed with a clean brush and White Spirit.

Lightfast pigment makes Wicked Detail Colors suitable for any airbrush nozzle size, starting with 0.15mm. Those paints dry to matte finish . Detail Colors are more transparent out of bottle compare to basic Wicked Colors and less viscous.
